A day at the races
Why not be taken in style and comfort in one of our luxury Mercedes cars or minibuses to the racecourse of your choice. You can hire a car or minibus for the whole day or on a fixed price per trip, either way you will be travelling first class.
We would like to make your trip to the races as enjoyable as possible so to help you get the best from us we have put together some popular questions and answers.
How can we pay for our day?
All bookings for the day must be paid in advance by credit card which will also guarantee that all spillages and cleaning costs are paid for.
Are we allowed to eat and drink in the car or minibus?
Yes you are, but all cleaning costs will be charged for so please avoid drinks like red wine as the stains sometimes can not be removed.
If we are having a good time will the driver wait for us until we are finished?
Yes that’s not a problem you will have his mobile number, just let him know. Waiting time is charged at £7.50 per 15 minutes which will be charged to the original credit card.
Can we make extra stops on the return journey?
Yes you can extra mileage is charged at £2.00 per mile which will be charged to the original credit card.
How long is a days hire?
A days hire is 8 hours and half days hire is 4 hours from the time of your pickup to the time you are dropped off. Extra hours are charged at £7.50 per 15 minutes.
Who pays for parking?
Parking charges are is on top of all fares or daily charges and will be paid by us and claimed from you via charge to your credit card.

Prices quoted include VAT and waiting time up to 45 minutes after your flight has landed. Parking is charged at cost and on average collection is between £2 and £6.
Fares paid by credit/debit cards are subject to a 5% surcharge to cover the bank charges.
All airport transfer journeys starting before 6am are subject to a £10 supplement which will be paid to the driver for turning out early.
In return for this A1 cars promise is that you car or minibus will arrive at least 5 minutes before your journey is due to start or your fare will be will be free of charge.
