Airport taxi from Royston

Royston is a busy market town in Hertfordshire.

The town has historical buildings and a very unusual man-made cave which features medieval carvings in the walls, to which some have religious significance.

In the town centre there is a large stone called the Royce stone, to which some people say Royston got its name. There was also a cross which would of sat in the stone, but unfortunately hasn't survived.

For sports and leisure, there is a sports club, a Rugby club and a Town Football Club. There is also a golf course and the Royston Downs. From the town train station you can take the train into Cambridge.

The town also had the first turnpike Road. Dick Turpin is believed to have operated along this stretch of road and apparently stabled his horse there.
